In class 3, we’re focusing on an important falling concept called ground awareness. This is the idea of building a strong relationship with the ground and how your body can safely interact with the ground in various positions and scenarios. Some ground awareness techniques include quadrupedal movement and cartwheels. The ability to enter and exit these movements in many ways will greatly boost your ukemi skillset.
