Class Summary

Kung Fu encompasses thousands of styles, techniques, and skills. Because of this, traditional Kung Fu has become difficult to define. However, all agree that it is root of most every martial art and the foundation on which many other arts have begun. The goal of the class is to educate you in the fundamental skills that define Kung Fu and to show you the very practical uses of Kung Fu in your path towards health, awareness, and self-defense.

The Instructor

Kenneth Kao has been studying martial arts since childhood. His background focuses most heavily in Hung Gar Kung Fu and Shaolin Kung Fu, but has training in several other styles. He has been teaching since 2002. Currently, he is a fight choreographer and stuntman in an independent film called, “Kung Fu Sushi Chefs.” In addition to teaching Kung Fu, he is a Doctor and co-owner of Vital Balance Chiropractic and is a Parkour instructor at APEX Movement.
